Fit & Size FAQs
Which measurement should I use first?
Start with your child’s height, then use chest, waist and hip to confirm their size. Age is a helpful guide, but children grow differently, so measurements will give you the most reliable fit.
For one-piece swimsuits, pay particular attention to height and body length.
What if my child is between sizes?
Choose the larger size. This is also the best option if your child is tall, longer through the body or you would like a little more room to grow.
Which styles run small?
Bobby and Mimi run small in sizes 0–2, so we recommend sizing up. Sizes 3–6 fit true to size with a snug fit.
Our long-sleeve swimsuits and rash vests fit true to size with a close, secure fit. Wave shorts fit true to size with a relaxed fit.
How should swimwear fit?
Swimwear should fit close to the body without pulling, digging in or restricting movement. A close fit helps the fabric stay comfortably in place in and out of the water.
Rash vests should feel close and protective, while Wave shorts are designed for a more relaxed fit.
Can you help me choose personally?
Of course. Email us at support@peachygang.com with your child’s height, usual clothing size and the style you’re considering. We’ll be happy to help you choose the best fit.
